I had the opportunity to design the promotional materials for the Brownsville Small Business Incubation Initiative, a program launched by Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso. This initiative was created to stimulate economic growth in Brownsville by supporting local entrepreneurs and revitalizing the neighborhood’s commercial areas. The goal was to foster small businesses and provide new opportunities for economic empowerment within the community.
My role involved developing a visual identity for the campaign, which included social media graphics and event materials. The design focused on capturing Brownsville's vibrant culture and entrepreneurial spirit, utilizing bold colors, dynamic typography, and imagery that highlighted the neighborhood's diversity and resilience.
The campaign successfully raised awareness and encouraged local business owners to get involved, resulting in increased engagement from the community. This project underscored how design can play a pivotal role in promoting economic development and empowering underserved neighborhoods.
