The project required extensive research and planning to create a comprehensive campaign that would effectively communicate the message. I began by identifying the key issues and challenges that content creators face on the internet, such as false copyright claims and a lack of knowledge about their rights. Next, I developed a strategy for the campaign that would address these issues and empower content creators to protect their work.
To make the campaign visually engaging, I used bold graphics and bright colors to attract attention and convey important information. I chose a color palette of blue and yellow, which are both bright and cheerful, and used them throughout the campaign to create a consistent look and feel. I also created a parody of the YouTube logo, which featured a modified version of the iconic play button, to draw attention to the campaign and emphasize the importance of fair use and content ownership.
To ensure that the campaign was effective in educating and empowering content creators, I created a series of infographics that explained complex concepts in simple terms. The infographics covered topics such as fair use, copyright law, and strategies for defending one's rights on the internet. I also created a website that provided resources and information for content creators, including legal resources, tips for dealing with false copyright claims, and advice on how to protect their work.
Throughout the project, I collaborated with other students to refine the campaign and ensure that it was effective in communicating the message. We worked together to test different graphics, messaging, and strategies and used feedback from our peers and instructors to refine the campaign and make it more impactful.
Overall, the project was an opportunity to use design to create a positive impact and advocate for a cause that I am passionate about. It required creativity, research, and collaboration to develop a campaign that would effectively educate and empower content creators on the internet.
