Designing the visual identity for my wife and my wedding was a project that allowed me to combine my professional design experience with something deeply personal. We wanted the celebration to reflect both of our personalities—my wife envisioned a romantic, star-filled winter night, while I was drawn to a sophisticated dark navy color palette. The result was a refined visual system that blended those ideas into an elegant and cohesive brand.
With experience creating invitations and print materials, I understood that successful wedding stationery relies on more than beautiful graphics. Typography and information hierarchy are just as important. I carefully selected elegant, highly legible script and serif typefaces to ensure every piece felt timeless while remaining easy to read.
Beyond the invitations, I developed the overall wedding branding, creating a consistent aesthetic across the stationery and printed materials. Every invitation was designed, printed, and assembled by hand for our guests, making each piece a personal reflection of our story. Although the project took several weeks to complete, seeing our vision come to life—and knowing I had designed every detail for one of the most important days of our lives—made it an incredibly rewarding experience.
